God wants to bless your spirit, and He wants you to call blessings into the spirit of others. His desire is for Holy Spirit to control your spirit which in turn controls soul and body. When your spirit is controlled by His Spirit and is dominant over your soul, your whole person is conformed to God’s truth and His intention for you. When your spirit is centered in joy and peace and is larger than your soul, it works to take care of a lot of other things, including lies you believe, depression, discouragement, death and destruction.

Proverbs 18:14 The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit? NKJV

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. NKJV

Luke 1:46-47 My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour. NKJV

Job 32:8But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. NKJV

Matthew 26:41Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." NKJV

These and many other scriptures tell us of the role of our spirits and our need to controlled by Holy Spirit. The Spirit of the Lord is upon us to achieve many things, but when our spirits give way to our soul and body we are not as effective as we should be for the extension of Gods kingdom.

The purpose of the blessings on this web site are to encourage you to call your spirit into line with Gods plans and purposes. We need to encourage our Spirits with the word of God and having declared the blessings allow our spirits to respond to the truth of His word. I suggest you get a journal and note down your spirits reaction to Gods word and the blessings, weigh them and rejoice in the Lord always.
