On the 30th June 2011 a number of people responded  to a call to repentance at Truro Methodist and used the prayers contained in this document (interwoven with worship)  in a response to Call2Cornwalls initiative for this corporate act of repentance.

The Cornwall House of Prayer recognise that event as a significant point in the life of the church in Cornwall and Gods plans for Cornwall. Whilst the hosts of the C.H.O.P. were not able to personally attend we stand in agreement with the prayers contained in the booklet Prayers of Repentance (click on title to download pdf version). It may be that you would like to stand with us by using any of these prayers which the Lord leads you too. This maybe the first time you have used them or you have become aware of a need to repeat the prayer due to recent sins.

Please use the prayers as a guide. The Lord’s heart is for us to stand in the gap on behalf of Cornwall and prepare for the outpouring of His blessings upon the land.
